Known for its rather special British menu and idyllic rural Worcestershire setting, the Brookes restaurant at The Elms is now open for lunch daily, following the announcement of new independent ownership of the hotel, restaurant and spa by a Worcestershire businessman.
Set in a Queen Anne country manor house nestled amid rolling north Worcestershire hills, near Abberley and Kidderminster, the Brookes restaurant offers a British inspired, fine-dining menu, drawing delicious inspiration from many local food producers in addition to a wealth of freshly grown fruit, vegetables and herbs picked daily from The Elms kitchen garden. New head chef, John Brandon, well-known for his gastro and fine-dining experience, offers seasonal dishes that will ensure a memorable and high-quality lunch.
The seven-day opening of the Brookes restaurant for lunch complements a full range of dining options for local residents at The Elms, including an evening restaurant menu every day, an all-day bar menu and a rather special afternoon tea service.
Recently purchased by a local businessman, passionate about ensuring The Elms maintains its place as one of the best country house hotels and restaurants in Worcestershire, and indeed the West Midlands, the beautiful venue is to see many enhancements and developments over the coming year.
Martin Page, General Manager at The Elms said: “It’s a very exciting time here at The Elms and we’re delighted to open our Brookes restaurant every day for lunch, enabling us to welcome more guests from the area to this very special place. Returning to an independent hotel and restaurant once more, we have plans to enhance this excellent destination for local residents to enjoy, whether you’re looking for a family afternoon tea, a fine-dining experience, a day relaxing in our exquisite spa facilities or even a special wedding venue.”
