IASME CEO recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours

IASME’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Emma Philpott, has been recognised for her contribution to cybersecurity with a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Emma is widely known as CEO of IASME, a brand that has grown significantly under her stewardship. An advocate of accessible and affordable cybersecurity for all, Emma’s leadership has helped enhance the security of thousands of organisations, including those micro and small businesses who can find the necessity for cybersecurity daunting.

Emma is also the CEO and founder of the UK Cyber Security Forum (UKCSF), a network of more than 17 regional clusters. Founded in Malvern with the Malvern Cyber Security Cluster in 2011, the clusters now stretch from the Solent to Scotland.

The UKCSF supports more than 600 cybersecurity businesses, providing them with a respected and coordinated voice into government and a platform to access notable domestic and international business opportunities with key Primes.

Her knowledge, influence and plain English approach have not gone unnoticed by the BBC, which now regularly interviews Emma for informed comment on topical cybersecurity news.

Dr Emma Philpott MBE will receive her award at a formal ceremony later in the year. ›
