The Courtyard has announced a new partnership with social arts company Wyldwood Arts.
The two arts organisations will be working together to continue the work and projects established by The Courtyard’s Creative Ageing team, facilitating arts activities, producing performances and developing relationships with communities across the region, offering more opportunities for people of all ages to engage in the arts.
“We are thrilled to be working with The Courtyard to deliver such important work across the county and beyond,” said Wyldwood’s Artistic Director, Rachel Adams. “This partnership builds on our successes and helps us both to strengthen the impact we can have in our communities, both in and outside of the building.”
Among the projects delivered through this partnership will be the continuation of Playing Together, a weekly, inter-generational workshop that supports participants to communicate through play activities, including music, movement, sand, puppets and visual arts.
Other projects will include workshops and activities at The Malvern Show as well as Wyldwood’s intergenerational project, River Roots, delivered across rural Herefordshire.
